I met someone 15 years ago, I remember quite well how we met. In fact if I close my eyes and shift back to the moments in past I can actually remember everything right from what he was wearing. It all started with a simple genuine smile, a little nod as a courtesy gesture, how he introduced himself and vice versa, we exchange talks on common ground and the rest is history when the young heart of mine melt into his.
Little that I know, that simple guy in front of me back than will be someone very much important in my entire life. For the past 15 years I must say I’m becoming him and he becoming me. We assimilate quite well and the new assimilation is now growing well in our little family. I wonder at times whose values prevail than the other, but I know we try to be a better person for each and every day that passes by.
No other word could describe how I love and care for him, for that I know on a special day like yesterday I could only thank Allah for sending him to me and to his parents for bringing him up to be a person he is today, and to my own parents for their blessing in our marriage.
Happy 33th Birthday Dear Husband, My prayer will always be with you for the rest of my life. Insya Allah.
